Peirre is a graduate and former scholarship athlete for football and basketball at Rice University in Houston, Texas. A standout athlete from Houston’s Westfield High School, Pierre was a four-year Varsity Basketball Letterman and a three-year Varsity Football Letterman.

Pierre was named the 2005 Houston Chronicle Player of the Year and a 2005 Second Team All-State player. In 2004 and 2005, Pierre was named as part of the District 15-5A First Team Offense, as well as District 15-5A 2005 MVP. Rivals Class of 2006 ranked Pierre #19 as a Dual Threat QB, and he was a member of Nike Houston Hoops’ AAU Basketball Team.
